    Hi,

I’ve had a look at Solspace’s Ratings module but I’m not sure if it’s capable of doing what I’d like it to do…

To cut to the chase, I’m wondering whether there’s any way to allow a user to rate something on different levels out of five. The different levels would make an average and all users put together would also make an average. These could all be displayed.

For example, if it was a cooking website, you would review a recipe and also rate it. When you went to rate it, you would rate it based on how easy it was to make, how tasty it was and also how expensive it was to make. (I’m not making a recipe website, this is only an example!)

So once the user had rated it, an average score of 5 could also be made, and an average score could also be made by using all user reviews.

Is there any way this could be done as I’m thinking, but I haven’t thought of anything yet, so that’s why I’m here! Or at least, is there something a little more advanced that I could use so there is more than 1 form of rating or just an average…

Look forward to hearing your replys… 😊

Update:  A good example is a plugin wordpress has: http://www.wpreviewsite.com/ - I’ll never switch to WP though, i love EE too much!

best bet is to ask Solspace crew in their forums…other than that I know there are 2 other choices:
    http://utilitees.silenz.org/index.php/addons/software/entry-rating/
    http://masugadesign.com/the-lab/scripts/unobtrusive-ajax-star-rating-bar/

or maybe a some form of a poll?

...not sure of their features, just sharing bookmarks.
