Is there a way to make it so new Entries have a defined Entry Date without having the user set it. I have a lot of entries I’d like to create but they’ll be long term information that will not necessarily require much editing once they’re completed. I don’t really want them clogging up the top of my edit page where I have other more current blog posts and news. I know I can sort the entries page relatively easily, but it’s just an extra step I’d love to lose.

It would be great if I could define these entries by weblog to always by something like 2000-01-01 12:00:01 AM or something similar. Is there an extension out there that does this? Or am I missing some setting in EE already that will allow it?

I don’t know of a direct solution, but you can edit the date of multiple entries at one time by clicking the checkbox on the far-right of multiple entries, and then choosing edit at the bottom.

It’s not exactly pretty, but it’s easier then change the date on each one individually.

Yep. That’s a good one. I’ve been doing that too. Just looking for something to automate it now…

    Thanks for the advice though!
