    I am trying to get the EE 2 version working with a Freelancer licence and running into problems.

    When I test in chrome and view a page that I have put the template tags on I get a Codeigniter error on the line that says

    $this->EE->load->library('typography');

    It also gives me this error message :

    A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Notice

    Message: Undefined property: Ed_imageresizer::$EE

    Filename: ed_imageresizer/pi.ed_imageresizer.php

    Line Number: 72

    A PHP Error was encountered

    Message: Trying to get property of non-object

    Fatal error: Call to a member function library() on a non-object in /servername/expressionengine/third_party/ed_imageresizer/pi.ed_imageresizer.php on line 72

    Anyone able to help a newbie please ?

    I am going through exactly the same nightmare - pls instruct on how to set paths!

    // ADD PATHS TO YOUR WEB ROOT AND CACHE FOLDER HERE
    private $server_path        = '/this/is/my/website/root/folder'; // no trailing slash
    private $cache_path         = '/this/is/my/website/root/folder/and/image/cache/'; // with trailing slash

    which cache is meant here, does that cache folder need to be created?
    is there anything else we need to take care of?

    thank you.

    I did the sames and made sure that the Cache folder was writable and still it never worked.

    I even tried emailing the developer to ask him if it was fixed. I might try again and link to this forum post.
