Well, First it was months of no updates.

Now, BinaryCake.com doesn’t even resolve to a host.

    Is BC dead?

    Sad.

Yeah - I think I had some remaining credits as well…

Maybe Jamie can shed some light on this?

I noticed this too just recently… though I never bought any credits. Might try emailing one of them directly.

I emailed them several times this last year. The last one I did it days ago (maybe 2 months ago). Yes, in 2010 there isn’t activity in the site (and half a year with a blank page). Always they reply to me that soon will reopen the site… I am a bit upset about it now. I feel cheated, and I’m sad because are people internationally renowned for their knowledge, and they are taking this issue very badly.

I thought I’d clear a few things up.

    1. BinaryCake is not dead. We will relaunch the site, under a new name, to be a part of a community effort we’re undertaking.
    2. Your credits are not lost. They will be valued and useable on the new site.
    3. We are extremely busy. It’s frustrating, but neither of us have a lot, if any time. Relaunching the site takes a lot of effort, and because of this, we can’t give you a release date. All we can say is that it’ll be ‘soon’.

I hope this clears a few things up. I’m not announcing a date, because I don’t want to work to a deadline and then miss it if there are any problems. However, we are still very appreciative of your custom, and you will be rewarded for it soon.

I’m not gonna go as far as demand my money back…yet…because I really enjoyed the series that I purchased and viewed. I did learn, and I want to continue to learn with what you guys are offering.

I’m very happy to hear it’s not dead and will be back up soon.

I understand you guys are busy…totally! If the series you did was free - I’d have absolutely nothing to complain about. But when you’re accepting money, it is a different story.

If memory serves correct, the last update on BinaryCake was back in October (possibly November) - 7 months ago. It’s been nothing but a dead site since then.

An explanation somewhere is not too much to ask. I’ve checked both your blogs many times over the months and not even a blurb about it going down (and why) is found. What’s one to think?

I know you guys are good guys and produce some great educational videos - but your customers just want to know what’s going on. That’s all.

I appreciate the update Jamie. I hope to see the new site up soon!

    Any news about the project?

I feel robbed. I am a bit sad about the situation. One more month without news. I think you would have to refund my money…. I payed for a product that I didn’t received.

Your tutorials was best that i have ever seen on web. The credit that i bought was at limit so i don’t have any credit on binarycake. I’m also looking for new tutorials. I hope they come back.
