Ah right I see now. Not really ever used the E-mail console so hadn’t seen that before.

Still makes me wonder about privacy issues here though. I know that some countries wouldn’t allow that no matter what but I guess it’s different for ExpressionEngine?

User can choose not to allow for emails from other members…but from legal aspect…I don’t that game so I can’t say. Either way, big brother is always watching 😊

Guys : update:

After seeing the limitations of Userfly and Ghost and doing some research i am now paying $99pm for .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Its like the 2 above but on steroids. There are form filters, heatmaps, can search user videos for search terms and a lot more.

Im absolutely addicted to it, checking back every few hours and viewing real users navigating my sites. Iv already made changes and there is no doubt this is a tool and service that will increase the bottom line.

I just watched a user fill in a form and saw exactly where they were sticking. If you are serious about the web and want to help your sites / client sites this is a must try tool.

Yep I came across that one too a while back although these are all fairly pricey. I can definitely see from what you get with ClickTale that it’s a fantastic tool to use but not really something I can afford per month. Shame really as that one is fantastic.

I agree that clicktale has alot of great features. But it too expensive for me. I have been using Ghost (ghost.eemt.se) for quite a while, and it is farily good.

But yesterday they released their new version of the recording software and it is fantastic!
It records users even after they logged in, which is a must for my sites which require login. And i can even use it on some of my company intranet products.

I have the medium account today (about 14 $ / month), and it is what i can afford. But $14 vs $99 (clicktale), is great. The recording on Ghost is better than userfly and clicktales after this release. They have a free account to test, but no demo (lol?).

I just realized that you’re only able to see the two first pageviews on clicktale free account? What is up with that? I’ll stick with Ghost then.
