I started experiencing the exact same issue from this thread:

    http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/52713/

I’m using a Mac just as the poster in the thread above was. I have no idea if it’s some weird network issue or an EngineHosting issue? Seems like maybe an EngineHosting issue (going to shoot them an email too) as other sites seem to load fine, but mine on EH were dragging, but not really sure.

I’ve experienced this twice tonight and after a lot of trying I finally got the template to save correctly so I’m just going to leave it alone and try it in the morning. Don’t want to break it again.

    Any ideas?

    Deron,

What version and build of EE are you using?

This is when you are updating a template right?

Are you saving template as files?

Let us know what EH have to say.

    Hi John,

    I’m running 1.6.8 Build 20100121.

I’ve been unable to duplicate the problem this morning but yes, this happens when I’m updating a template. I click update, and then the page hangs for 30 seconds or so, the page refreshes and then I get the error message at the top of the screen and then part of my template has been truncated.

EngineHosting responded and said they didn’t notice anything out of place on their end.

I guess all I can do at this point is post back if I experience it again.
