    Hello people,
I have a pretty easy setup where members make entries into weblog as their portfolio/bio page. Using tinymce to ease out the entry process. I am not using ‘member profile’ pages.

Goal is to be able to email the entry (memberx bio page).
What would be the best approach?

    - The only thing I could come up with is having to re-design the template into ‘email friendly’ format of tables and inline styles (with absolute links and URLs to images) and then use “Tell-a-friend” but it seems clunky.
    - Or go the the traditional way of just sending a link to entry page but people love their email clients (outlook) and want the full page served/emailed. <- I have my own gripes but HTML email but not my call.

Any modules that you know of?

    Thanks!

its a sad truth that in order to get the majority of email clients to display the email correctly you’ll have to use tables and inline styles. i doubt there are any modules that can do it for you and you probably wouldn’t want it automated anyway (you’d want to test it on the most popular mail clients).

    best of luck!

Thanks Ben, I figured as much but thought to ask.
I will experiment with ‘tell a friend’ and subset of hidden fields containing ‘wrapping html’ while giving users only basic html in the message fields p,em,strong,ul but this is only a concept so I tread lightly.

In a perfect world I would opt out for just a simple email with link to entry.
    Thanks for catching this thread!
