Hello, dear CI Community! Want to offer you some new thing!(only for advanced CI programmers). Does anybody know Issuu? So, thanks to this web service I want to create monthly magazine about Codeigniter Developing. And I’m seeking for advanced coders, who wants to publish his articles or anything else. Together, we can make a great thing! So, what are you think about it? Thank you.

    It is an interesting project.

I think this magazine should explain best coding and architecture practices in CI development, using practical examples.

It will be interesting to read:

    - Articles about case studies of currently succesfull projects, showing what libraries, helpers, models, hooks, etc. are using.
    - Reviews of community driven libraries.
    - “One more thing” section, with a brief summary that what have been happened at the forums last month.
    - Security corner section.
    - To talk about future changes of the framework.
    - Etc.

Sounds like a great idea, as long as it is free!

I think Muser hit the nail on the head with

...explain best coding and architecture practices in CI development, using practical examples.

This is something i often struggle with: what is the “standard” or “best practice” way to do something. Being self-taught, i usually go with the way that works, and then when i see how it could have been done so much better, or easier, i am kicking myself.

The problem with a magazine that focuses on CI only is that you’ll run out of available topics over time.

Well, What do you offer? I think, the all beautifullness of such magazine is that reader always knows what he want and what he will read in this magazine. Do you agree?

I’d be interested in writing - except I don’t know if my practices are best practices.

Why do you want to publish it in a “fake magazine” format, why not publish it on a blog (such as Nettuts) ?
