I haven’t seen anything like this in the forums but then again I didn’t look too closely so feel free to direct me to existing threads.
We have a in-house e-commerce system built in Java and I like to know if it is possible for ee and our in-house system to somewhat ‘share’ the user accounts so that the transition between ee and the other system is seamless to the end user.
Is there a module/extension for this? Has anyone done it before?

Have a look at aMember which creates that integration between EE (among others) users database with third-party scripts.
