I’ve uploaded an image, but it doesn’t appear on the left of my posts.

Is there a special requirement to have to your picture shown?

    Yes there is.

The first requirement is having a decent picture, if it is not taken by a professional, or if it is not up to the standard of being a superhuman CI coder, the EE software will not show it.
Secondly you should have rubbed the picture 3 times before uploading..

Guess you didn’t do that huh…

Lol, you have to upload an avatar. The avatar, not the photo, is shown beside the comments.
So all you have to do is upload an avatar.

I have dead pixels now from rubbing my avatar on my screen.

Buy me a new monitor or expect a letter from my lawyer.

    😊

Uh oh. Ellislab needs to add this disclaimer now.

“For best results with avatars, please print out your avatar before rubbing it. Any damage done to your monitor caused by the avatar rubbing process is not at the fault of Ellislab or any of the awesome CodeIgniter community members. “
