I am using EE 1.6.7. We have been running the site hosted on EngineHosting for about 6 months now. Suddenly, we are getting a generic error when we try file upload:

A problem was encountered while attempting to upload your file

This error occurs for all users including SuperAdmin.

The only thing we have changed lately was adding more MIME types for uploading videos about three weeke ago. Everything was working fine.

We checked with EngineHosting support and all paths and permissions are set correctly.

This problem suddenly started a week ago. When I tried to remove the new MIME types, the error was still occurring.

    Thanks!

Welcome to the ExpressionEngine forums, Percy.

Can you upgrade to 1.6.8? Make sure to replace the mimes file during the upgrade.

I have upgrade to 1.6.8. The MIME types are back to its original state.

When I try to upload the JPEG again, I still get the same error.
