Hi there.  I logged into a client’s admin area, and clicked a template to edit it.  I received the error below:

    MySQL ERROR:

    Error Number: 1054

Description: Unknown column 'last_author_id' in 'field list'

    Query: SELECT group_id, template_name, save_template_file, template_data, template_notes, template_type, edit_date, last_author_id FROM exp_templates WHERE template_id = '25'

What version/build of EE are you running?

Did you recently perform an upgrade? The update may have not completed.

I came across this related thread.

    Does this help?

That didn’t seem to work.  I got to the point of running update.php.  When I ran it, it said this:

You are currently running ExpressionEngine: Version 1.6.8. “This is the most current version!”

Hmm, think I misunderstood a part of the instruction where it said to set the version to an earlier version in the config.php file, so scratch the above comment for now.

That was it.  Took it back to 164 and clicked through the update process.  I can access my templates now.  Thanks.
