License Transfer from Dev Server to Live Server

    I think the answer to my question will be the same as posted here, but am going to ask to be on the safe side:

    I’m going to be developing a site on a development server, then once complete move it to the live server. What’s the process regarding the license? After transferring to the live site do I have to unregister the development installation or just delete EE completely or something else? Since in the above post it was mentioned that licenses are not tied to domains then can I just delete the development site and that be it?

    No formal process, really. One license per site is all that’s needed.

    No need to unregister anything, just delete.

    That is correct.

    Should that be “one license per installation” instead? Multiple sites are allowed, right?
