I really like the look of the ExpressionEngine community forums but it doesn’t come with forum module. Is the theme available?

The Support Theme is a theme specially branded for EllisLab, Inc. It is under copyright and is not available for redistribution.

Can you say if there will there be any new forum themes available with the EE 2 version?

That is not a feature release, which is all I can say. Honestly, modifying the themes, while it looks a bit scary at first with all those templates, is not that bad. You really need focus only on a few templates - the HTML templates and CSS, and not worry about the inner mini-templates. Why not give it a shot making your own theme? You could start with Minimalism even to make it easier.
