To whom it may concern that knows the answer to my question,

Is there documentation somewhere that has the procedures for creating manual weblog entries?

I’m building a plugin that parses a feed and creates a weblog entry from the feed data.  So I’d just like to know what tables get updated when EE creates a new weblog entry.  Perhaps anything else I should know when creating weblog entries via the DB. I’m sure this has been asked or the documentation is somewhere but I can’t seem to find it.

    Thanks,

There may be a plugin that already does what you’re looking for. Have you heard of FeedGrab? You might want to check it out before writing your entire Plugin. It may save some time.

Erik, thanks for the prompt reply.  The feed I’m grabbing is a service thing that’s got a proprietary format, so I don’t think that plugin will work.  However, I can look at that code and see how updating the DB is handled, that’ll probably answer most of my questions.  Thanks for the tip!
