Hi all, I have a site about to go live and have two SAEF questions.

I have created a pending status in the admin area and set status=“pending” in the SAEF tag and yet the entries appear as closed in the admin area, can anyone help?

Additionally I have tightened up the membership restrictions for the admin area however if they guess the admin panel address they can still login and see number of hits etc, is there anyway I can customize the admin panel to show nothing on the main page bar the menus?

    Thanks

Is the member group posting through the SAEF allowed to use the status “pending”?

Additionally I have tightened up the membership restrictions for the admin area however if they guess the admin panel address they can still login and see number of hits etc

Why not disallow Control Panel Access altogether for those groups?

Hi Silenz, thanks for your reply.

If i disallow access they will not be able to upload images through the SAEF.

if you want to disallow control panel access and still let them upload files, I’d look into using the nGen file upload field instead of the default EE file manager.

it is ngen within a field frame, does this mean they dont need admin access, didnt realise that, brilliant!
