Yes, I experience the offspring disconnect too… Just history repeating itself, back in the stone-age you never heard from the kids again, once they left the tribe - apparently…  😉

Want an account for Google Wave?.... seems you are pretty much out of luck unless you have an invite…

So did some digging around and it looks like I have a solution, well one that should work providing you have a twitter account that is.

My twitter username is MilesP btw….

So, goto this site and with twitter account i.d. and the associated email address in hand follow the instructions.

As I write this I have not got my invite, which should arrive somewhere between now and 1 hours time.

Don’t know how many ‘invites’ are available so I guess we will only find out by giving it a try.

Ah well…..
Not looking good as 3 hours gone by and no invite.

If it comes through i’ll let you know…

Nothing came out of it so a waste of time.

Seems so here also. It is looking like a scam to gain email crosslinks to twit accounts, valuable to spammers.

Glad I gave them my junk address.

Possibly, though I do wonder (now) whether they are just having some fun by creating their own (google) wave alias ‘Mexican wave’ as a joke on us all.

Time will tell
