Hi, my name is Erik and I have an addiction.

    I love TextMate snippets.

I love fining ways to speed up my development process. I bet you love speeding yours up as well. I’m creating a new TextMate bundle to speed up my EE add-on development. I know everyone has their own style of writing add-ons so that in itself might deter some from using this bundle. It’s very early on but I did a video of me using what I have so far for Extensions and Language files. I create a very basic (yet awesome) Extension with CP settings in a few minutes.

There is no audio because I recorded it in the middle of the night while my sick daughter was sleeping close by. You may have the skim back and watch a few things twice to see everything that is automated. You will get to see my brain in action a little as well as I use a hook and fix some typos in the code. The bundle makes use of variables, shell code, placeholders, environment variables, mirrors, and transformations .

I’ll do another video as the bundle matures. Let me know what you think!

Nice, I’d love to give the bundle a try if you plan to release it, looks good!
