This question is related to a resolved thread.

It is still happening. I’ve cleared the cache, reinstalled all of the EE files, and still the template page doesn’t completely load. If I refresh the page it will eventually show up.

    Thanks for your help.

Interesting.  What kind of server are you on?  Any server-level caching that you know of?

Also, what extensions are you using?

Server: Redhat Enterprise Linux v5 server.

Extensions: Multiple Site Manager & Discussion Forum. That what you mean?

Look in Admin -> Utilities -> Extensions Manager for extensions.

but no server side caching that you know of?

I have Accessible Captcha (v.1.0.3) and jQuery for the Control Panel (v.1.1.1), but neither of them are enabled.

I cleared the cache completely but for the index.

    xmo1,

When did your original issues start to occur? Was it after an update or when you first installed?

Can you check to see what you have your Debug Preference set to

Admin ›  System Preferences ›  Output and Debugging Preferences

What build of EE are you using as opposed to the version which is 1.6.8? You can find that info in the footer of your Control Panel.

    Build:  20090915

This started before I updated to the latest build of EE, I think after my last upgrade.

Debug Preference = 1. only shown to admins

Just to clarify, the IE error you helped me with is taken care of. It is the template not fully loading that I am wondering about.

    Thank you!

    xmo1,

OK, on that same settings page, can you turn on Display SQL Queries?

Now visit your template that is giving you the problem.  In your control panel, SQL info will now show at the bottom of all pages.

Can you copy and paste the last few lines of what is on the template page in here please?

Thing is, it’s hard to predict when the template will not completely load. I’ll keep using the CP and when it happens, see if it there’s anything under the template.

    😊

BTW, when the template editing page doesn’t load, the SQL Query info doesn’t load either.

is this regardless of browser?  What happens if you view the source of the page when the template doesn’t load?  Is all the html there in the source?
