Hi,
I am using the MSM and one of my sites is in German.
When using date formatting i.e. {entry_date format="%d %F %Y"} my months are in English.
How do I get EE to render them in German i.e. 1 June 2009, should be 1 Juni 2009
Thanks
Gary

Gary, are you setting your settings to use German?
Which version/build of ExpressionEngine are you using? You can find that out at the bottom of any control panel page.
The current version is 1.6.8 and the build is 20090723.

I have set the xml lang to German.. default language only had english as an option
using ExpressionEngine 1.6.7 - upgrading isn’t an option as I go live in the morning

I’ve been looking around a bit, and there are a few threads out there about using strftime, but there isn’t a definitive answer.

Have you downloaded the German language file?

Just install the German language pack, you can have different default language options for each Site; however, the logged-in users language preferences will over-ride these. That preference is set in My Account.
