    Hi,

I’m considering EE for our next major project, but one query I’ve been asked is to have a site with a language selector. What’s EE like for this kind of feature>

I have read http://expressionengine.com/wiki/Multi_language_site_alternative/ and it seems viable. Are there any alternatives to this one? And are there any sites I could take a look at that make use of EE and multiple languages.

    thanks.

    Hi, Ross -

There is another one in the wiki actually, you can find them listed on the Languages page:

Also look for LG Multi Language, it’s an extension some have had success with.

    Hi Ross,

You have to do some planning on how you want to implement your multi-lang solution. How ever you do it, it is a fairly simple process. EE is very flexible. You can check out our company site if you want http://www.biberltd.com [turkish] http://www.biberltd.com/en/ [english]. You can switch the languages from the drop down on the top right corner as well.

We have used a hybrid method adding a bit of our own flavor on it. You can find more detailed explantion in this post:
