I’ve googled, but no dice ... has anyone seen an EE add on like WordPress’ Twitter Poster, where a new post on my blog will automatically be sent to my twitter account? Twitter Poster sends the headline as the twitter content, along with a link back ...

I prefer to use FriendFeed for this, just another option if you wanted to use an external service instead.
