Is it possible to have the category menu open on default when publishing an item?
It is a required field, so I would like to show it always

Maybe the DC Required Category Extension would be helpful…

Also take a look at the Tab Forward extension. Those two together should give you everything you need hopefully.

I am using the DC plugin already, the tab forward is new to me.
DC plugin alone is not enough for me since it won’t actively remind the client to fill a category in. opening up the tab will hopefully 😊
