I am new to github, never seen or heard of it. How would I go about getting the latest CI from there?
I am on Windows XP, I have the TortoiseSVN installed, something tells me that its now useless though 😊.
Thanks!

if you have TortoiseSVN the path to the ci repo is http://dev.ellislab.com/svn/CodeIgniter/trunk

well if he wanted the **latest** meaning the nightly builds then it would be the svn but this is not recommended to use on a production server even though it is pretty stable.

@jdwarrior I am fully aware of the homepage download, I was wanting the *latest* from CI. Client has moved to PHP v5.3 and from what I hear codeigniter on the SVN works with it.

I might be wrong, but you can’t download Git repositories using TortoiseSVN. And there is actually a copy of the CI repo on githb : http://github.com/cbosuna/codeigniter/tree/master
