I am in Vancouver, Canada and I see a “stall” regularly. A refresh makes it appear right away. I see it on both Safari for Mac and FF for Windows. Next time it happens I will try to see what it is stalled on.

Here’s another one with both problems. What I’ve noticed is that the frequency of these problems increases when I view the forums on my iPhone.
But the first problem happens with other EE-forums as well. It takes up to ten seconds before there’s a connection with the site and then the forums just shows instantly while the rest of the site works as expected.

I think I’ve only seen the CSS thing once on this site, though I have seen it from time to time on other sites, usually repeatedly for a while before it stops recurring—so I have always figured it’s a site thing.

The loading balk thing happens more frequently and it doesn’t seem to matter which sites I’m trying to load, so I think that’s a Firefox thing, at least for me.

In both cases, hitting refresh one time usually sets it straight.
