Hello,

Is there any way for someone to be notified by email when a new post is created in a certain weblog?

For example, when using the Stand-Alone Entry Form to let regular users submit a new post that must be approved before it is published, it’d be extremely helpful to send an email to one of the admins/editors so that they know there is a new post that needs to be approved.

I’m happy to use a plugin or module if anyone knows of any that can do this.

I just noticed the Notifications section in weblog preferences.

Combined with Snitch, it’ll do the job: http://brandon-kelly.com/apps/snitch
