I’m using Levi Graham’s Tiny_MCE WYSIWYG plugin to populate a field called

{extract}

I want to have that field followed by a ‘Read more’ link that runs on to the end of the text and is not pushed onto a new line by the paragraph spacing.

Is there a way to backspace four characters so that I can remove the terminal

from the extract?

Note: I cannot use

backspace="4"

{extract}

is not the last field to be called.
