Can I have one weblog and two templates with one template open to everyone and the other only to those in the default Member group and choose HTTP Authentication? I set the template on one entry in the weblog to the restricted template. The restricted entry doe not display.

If I create a 2nd weblog and create the restricted entry in it and set the template to the restricted template it works.

I’d like to restrict this one entry to just Members and just have one weblog. Possible?

In principle, yes. All access restrictions in EE are done on a per-template basis. What’s the issue here? Do you mean you don’t want to show the restricted entry on the “open” template?

    That is correct.

I reword my question (I was tired yesterday).

Can I have 1 weblog and 2 templates with one template restricted to Members viewing only and the other open to the public? Forgot to mention I am using the “Pages” module.

I think this is possible and I just don;t have something set correctly right now. I had it working with 2 weblogs but I would like to keep all entries in the same weblog.

    Thanks.

The answer is yes. I believe I had a caching issue that was giving me trouble.

Ignoring the Pages module for now, do you have the single entry template working as it should?

Yes, everything now appears to be working.

    Thanks
