You are all awesome, thank you. =)
BTW: Did they give you your favourite car in the meantime?
*laughs* you may be the only one that remembers. I got something much better, qualitatively. =)
I would have to say this series of posts I was recently directed to is now my mantra.

I’m glad that helped you! You guys don’t know this but that entire series started off as one humongous article. Thank goodness for some incredible mentors and learning how to break things up a bit.
Only 35962 posts? I think you’ve started to slow down a little now that you’ve had this cushy job for a couple of years.
I have slowed down, this is true - but only because I now have an incredible Technical Support team to keep the forums running!
and to everyone else, of course, thank you. Hard to believe how quickly the time has flown - not just since 2007, but since 2004!

Congrats, you have always been helpful with your input and keeping this community filled with precious info.
Friendly and courteous community accounts for so much!!!
Isn’t Lisa due for a raise? (hey it can’t hurt to ask 😉)

Hoʻomaikaʻi ʻana Lisa! (Hawaiian Congratulations)
Ellis Labs serves as an excellent example and case study on how to hire the best and brightest from their community. But in order to do that, they first had to build a great community. Most companies can’t hire from their valuable community because they haven’t taken the time and energy to build one.
Congrats to you, Ellis Labs, and all of us whom love and work in EE and CI everyday. We all win!

Congratulations indeed! As others have said already, projects are barely anything without a community and you’ve been a pillar of help and support in this one… 😊 Thanks from the heart for all you’ve contributed.
