    Standard development cycle:
Debug/build with Firefox. Test in Epiphany. If all looks good send to some tester who uses Windows. Curse MS for just about anything. Spend the rest of the day trying to make it look good in IE. Go home. Cry in a corner.

Mind you our company still supports IE6…

I usually test in IE6, if it works fine in IE6 it’s usually work fine in IE7. I only use it for development though!

I use firefox more often, but sometimes I want to be sure my site displays properly in IE so I use IE7 and IE6 in VM.

I hate IE6 it’s really annoying, sometimes a page works great on all browsers and IE6 is ugly

I always use Firefox @ home and on my workspace. Though I have IE8 installed and Safari for testing purposes.

The killer though is that we might use Firefox and all, but I work at a university and we got 35.000 students that are all forced to work on workstations with IE7 that can’t install anything (no admin rights). 😊

I use IE just to spend time on making fixes for a already valid and standardized document.

I don’t care so much about IE6 users anymore though (dying breed anyways). Of course they should get the information on the site, like everyone else, but if the transparent png’s have a greyish background.. I couldnt care less.

IE7 is also crap (also with transparent png-rendering). But a bit more cooperative.

The only time I use IE7 is for the few websites I must use that require it (work related). Any other time it’s Firefox and I am actually debating switching back to Chrome now that extensions are on their way to the public.

Firefox! Cant stand IE, but the overwhelming popularity of it makes it a necessary evil for cross browser compatibility.

chrome for browsing, firefox for development (firebug). once chrome gets something more useful (and FASTER to use) than its inspector thing, i’ll be swapping permanently i think.
