I’ve created my templates, weblogs, and posts. When I view my site and click on the links, I get a Page Not Found error. Looking at the status bar at the bottom of the browser, the links look correct but for some reason they’re not resolving.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Do you have a link to the site?  Are you using any mod_rewrite to remove index.php from your url?

    http://www.susg.com/

I had installed the lg-htaccess extension, but removed it and removed the .htaccess file. Even though I did that, the links are still not showing index.php. Also, under “Name of your site’s index page” in the General Configuration section, I haved “index.php”.

    okay, couple of things.

a.)  It looks like you need to force query strings on this host.  http://www.susg.com/index.php?/about/  works, and http://www.susg.com/index.php/about/ doesn’t/

b.)  How have you coded your links?  If you did:

    <a href="http://{path=about}">About</a>

It should be an automatic fix, however if you didn’t use ExpressionEngine path variables to produce the links, you will need to manually change them.

I did the links like this…

    Overview
    SAP Consulting

Based on your example, how would I use the path function to go to the subpages (like the second example above)?

    Thanks for your help!

not sure what you did there, can you throw your example in the [ code] [/code] blocks please?

check out Paths in the docs.

Yup, that’s the issue, on the link I gave above, specifically look at:  “Why not hard code URLs instead?”
