Wow… I can’t believe it. I uploaded the files. Emptied cache on the server, in the browsers.
Removed the {if member_group == "1"}, so the code is just now
{exp:stats}
{if member_names}
Online:
{member_names backspace='6'}
<a href="http://{member_path=member/index}">{name}</a>
{/member_names}
{/if}
{/exp:stats}So, on computer 1, logged in as system admin and can see that I’m online - me.
On computer 2, other browser, logged in as a member and can see that ‘user’ is online—that is, see myself as a user.
Computer 1 and 2 should see ‘user’ and the system admin as logged in.
I also tried this code with same results as mentioned above.
{exp:stats}
Online:
{member_names backspace='6'}
<a href="http://{member_path=member/index}">{name}</a>
{/member_names}
{/exp:stats}Very strange, what else could be wrong?

And I put that code in a new empty template, I cannot see the other user as being online.

Do you’ve got a link to this template, is it publicly available somewhere?

Got system efficiency happy ... so much for that.
THANKS for all your help guys/gal.
