So who has a LinkedIn account ? 😊 I made mines earlier today and I’m looking for people so I can expand my network 😛

I’ve been considering joining a long time, but never got round to it
In fact, I may have actually registered just to get my name, but can’t remember for sure (I have placeholder accounts on various sites should I decide to use them eventually, eg twitter, a few wordpress blogs etc)

So far I like the idea of it, but I find it extremely hard to browse through the site, so much information and such a small amount of space.

What’s the benefit of expanding networks?

It has to do with 2nd level network and beyond.
For instance, you know 2 people, that know 2people, that know 2 people
You 1st level network is 2, your 2nd level network is 4 but your 3rd level network is 8

When doing bussines you can never have a to big a network. You would be surpised as to how many bussiness oportunities you can get through 2nd/3rd level networking.

Then again, the more the marier;-)
