surendettement
hello all..
thanks for the post
that’s helpful
dossier de surendettement
One topic, Three different posts, three different users, one invisible link to one site. 1-2 months time apart.
Maybe someone should do something about not allowing ‘invisible’(white) links in posts?

Are there actually also admins from Europe and Australia? That way, spam could be deleted even faster…

I don’t think there are any in Europe, as stuff I report as spam in the morning doesn’t get removed till about midday in most cases :( (I’m from the UK)
And well spotted Bargainph… I was always suspicious of the messages which where clearly spam like, but had no links (and neither did the profile)... Now I know (although maybe another tactic is to post linkless messages now, and then edit them a few weeks later, that way they might stay under the radar)

I’d volunteer to check and delete spams (I’m from Europe, too), but I don’t know if this would result in full admin-rights (which I don’t want), no idea how granular the right-management in this forum is. I think it is important in the future for some more support in general into this direction since the spam seems to increase…

Maybe instead of doing it so that a few select users have the ability to outright delete spam, we (well, they) could tweak the reporting process.
If a user has reported X number of spam messages with a 95% success rate, when they report something, it gets removed from the thread, but not deleted. When a real moderator signs in, they see this queue, and they can restore any false positives, and dispose of the rest.
Oh, and I say initially this would only apply to posts, not user accounts

The best thing would be to prevent it in the first place. I took a look at the captcha’s that are being displayed during signup and they’re not very difficult to crack. I’d say Akismet is the right option.

A post verification system has been implemented - I won’t go into details as to which for obvious reasons.
Additionally, I believe some automation has been added based off of the “Report” link. If certain conditions are met in regards to other users reporting a post as spam, it will be taken care of automatically. I can’t confirm this step, just something I have noticed. Lately, I’ll get a notification of a report go to check it out and it’s already been taken care of, within seconds of notification. Could just be an EllisLab employee beating me to the punch though.
Edit: K, fixed the typo in the first line… it was early when I wrote this, wasn’t awake yet. 😊

I want go into details as to which for obvious reasons.
You want? ... or won’t, typo I guess? 😊
