    I have a small website (infact my first 😊 running on EE. It is set up so my client can edit area’s of his site without coming back to me. He is set up as a user but when he adds a new Article to his site the Status for the Web Blog is set to “Closed” and he can not change it. Myself, as Admin, can but I cannot find the setting to change it.

    I am sure it is something very simple that I have missed so I had a good hunt around the forums but anything mentioned does not reflect my working space.

    Any Help would be great

    Be Gentle… still a newbie here.

    Hi Dancer,

    You will need to make sure that the weblog your user is posting to has a default Status Group set. That is usually what causes this problem.

    If you go to :

    Admin->Weblog Administration->Weblog Management->Edit Groups

    Just ensure that a status group is selected in the Status Group drop-down. I’m guessing that at the moment it may well be set to None?

    Hope that helps a bit.

    Best wishes,

    Mark
