I found the problem. I deleted these files locally but they were still in the github repo, even after several commits. I have removed the older files from the repo.

I removed:

controllers/admin.php (path changed)
views/auth/login.php (path changed)
views/auth/logout.php (path changed)
views/auth/reg_success.php (path changed)
views/auth/register.php (path changed)

all .sql files except dump.sql.

So you can either delete the files you don’t need locally or grab them from the repo again.

$config['auth_login'] = 'admin/';

$config['auth_login'] = 'admin/dashboard/';

?

Yes it should, I fixed it and it’s now in the repo.

However, I am very new to CI and I am having a problem.

I have uploaded all of the files but I am getting this error.

An Error Was Encountered
Unable to load the requested class: auth

Any help would be appreciated

Can you provide me with your version of CodeIgniter, version of PHP and your platform? Have you taken the files from the Github repo and copied the contents of the folders into an existing CodeIgniter application, or are you just running The Authentication Library files on their own?

Should be

<?php echo anchor("admin/users/add", "Add User"); ?>

Ok, Adam this is great to new people like me. Completely new. I am still going through the process of creating a forum. I like the look and functions of this CI forum. I would love to code it straight from the first line, but don’t mind a library i could look through. Any ideas?
