Hi, just finished my own portfolio site in Dreamweaver, would i have been better off doing it in EE?

I don’t know if posting a non-EE site here is legal.  It might be better suited for the Lounge.  Anyway, it’s a nice enough, professional design.  I especially like the Resources page.

Is something supposed to appear in those tooltip-type balloons on the resources page?  I’m just getting a blank box.

As to your question about Dreamweaver vs. EE.  That’s like comparing apples to oranges.  Dreamweaver is not a CMS.  You’re fine to design any website in Dreamweaver if you so choose (including EE).  Where EE is useful in providing the additional content management and interactive functionality that a database-driven site can only provide.

oops, sorry if my blog isn’t legal, didn’t know.
Thanks for your comments, really interested in what EE will do, am going to investigate further.

Almost forgot, the small bubble that appear on the resources page are a thing called a websnapr, really cool little tool that should show you a thumbnail of the web link you are about to visit., They do normally work. look them up on the web as websnapr.
    Cheers, again.

    Hi wave,

I like the site.  Looks real clean/professional.

I would suggest maybe slowing down the picture rotating on the left side.  I think it might be a little quick, but others probably disagree.

    Nice work,
    DH

Thanks, will try and slow the thing down, thought it might be a bit quick, thanks for the confirmation.
    Cheers, Matt.
