Just starting to look at sending an email blast out to members. I went into “CP Home ›  Modules ›  Mailing List” and clicked on “View” for the “Default Mailing List” and I just get the error below. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    ——-

    MySQL ERROR:

    Error Number: 1054

Description: Unknown column ‘ip_address’ in ‘field list’

    Query: SELECT user_id, list_id, email, ip_address FROM exp_mailing_list WHERE list_id = ‘1’

We’ve seen this a few times. The solution is to remove and reinstall the module. But before you do that, save the email addresses in a text file so you can put them back in again.

re-installing the module appears to have done the job.
