Have installed Wamp.  EE has been installed and the Forum.

Now trying to import the database files from my hosted site to give me a backup on my laptop.

I am getting the following error on trying to import the database file.

“No date was received to import. Either no file name was submitted, or the file size exeeded the maximum size permitted by your PHP configuration”

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    LionelXX:

We can’t support local server setup, however, my best guess would be that the sql file you are trying to upload into phpmyadmin is larger than what your php.ini file allows.  Look through that file in the wamp folder, up the size, and restart apache.

I followed the instructions on this link to increase file size.

Now files have uploaded to Wamp Server.  Just have to work out the paths to the files as I cannot see them in EE.

    Thanks

Take a look at this wiki entry.  There is help for you to figure out what the paths should be.

    Thank you Greg,

I have also been reading this link.

Have not got around to changing links yet, but the Wamp is working ok, and database file has been downloaded.

Just need to change the paths now.
