I’m fairly new to EE and pretty happy with it. I spend a fair amount of time modifying both templates and weblog entries and would like to be set up as well as I can to make my workflow efficient. And sure, I am trying not to spend a lot. I don’t need Dreamweaver.

I have read many posts and come up with the stuff below. Saving all my templates as files and editing them with smultron or cssedit seems to be my biggest efficiency booster. Here is what I ended up with:

    cssedit
    smultron
    transmit
saft (for letting me use smultron for weblog entries)

I know people have a lot of personal preferences (taco vs textmate vs whatever) but overall, is my setup OK?  Am I missing anything?

I’m not sure this really fits within the EE How to, maybe more of a general discussion topic… Nevertheless, if you’re talking about your web design workflow, here’s something that should help you.
