Hi all, I’ve noticed on my EE site, when I save an edit to an entry or when I preview a forum post, it takes a surprisingly long time—but if, soon after, I re-edit and re-save the same entry, this time it seems perfectly fast.
Does that symptom make sense?

Not really. Let’s get some more information.
Which version and build of ExpressionEngine are you using? You can find that out at the bottom on any control panel page.
How much memory is allocated to PHP?
Admin › Utilities › PHP Info - Look for memory_limit. What is it set to?
Are you using versioning with your EE entries?
Is this something new, or has it always been happening?
If you try another browser, what happens?
