I have a client that has an existing site. He wants to have a couple of the pages on his site editable and leave the rest of the site as it currently is (tiny budget). Has anyone setup EE to only manage only a few pages on a site? Is it possible? Is it more of a headache than it’s worth?

I’ve done it. It’s silly, but certainly possible. So long as your static directory names don’t interfere with your EE template group names you should be fine. There are probably other details I’m forgetting, it was a while ago…
