    No, actually site_root at the top of your template:

    {assign_variable:site_root="http://www.pm-adr.com/"}

    Try both, it won’t hurt.

    think i found one issue. the drop down menus work just not main level. I am going to try to change all of these

    {if embed:body == "home"}<body id="home">
        {if:elseif embed:body == "about"}<body id="about">
        {if:elseif embed:body == "practice_areas"}<body id="practice_areas">
        {if:elseif embed:body == "neutrals"}<body id="neutrals">
        {if:elseif embed:body == "blog"}<body id="blog">
        {if:elseif embed:body == "news_events"}<body id="news_events">
        {if:elseif embed:body == "contact"}<body id="contact">{if:else}<body>{/if}
            <div id="utility_nav_container"> </div>

    to /about ... etc.

    That’s not your whole template, is it? Let’s focus on the nav_container id: Where does it come from (embed?), then show us some code generating the menu.

    WOW! what a small mistake. In the path.php file it was this:

    $site_url = "http://www.pm-adr.com";

    eventhough I changed it everywhere it had to add a trailing / here to make it work!

    Thanks for all your help. I am sure there are going to be things that will need a bandaid and I will have lots of questions 😊

    For the most part is it typical to use absolute paths with EE. I would much rather have relative!

    Actually, that’s what I meant in #14, but I am glad it’s working 😊

    There’s nothing in EE to hold you back from doing so 😊

    Thanks again for all your help. I will be adjusting our workflow from some “leasons learned” from this (especially some behind the scenes Ubuntu lessons).
