I will say…the TechSmith folks are good people. For me they’ve been responsive to tech support, genuinely interested in how I use their products and generous with upgrades.
They’re a MI company and have been present at local tech events and at the larger ones like SXSW (here’s a Photo Op even).

I’ve been using Camtasia for a few years now, but Jing is great for quick and dirty videos.
