OpenX, anyone?

I’m using OpenX with ExpressionEngine, and have run into two issues with page validation.

First, OpenX by default outputs code with single quotes in the a and img tags. Is there a way to change them to double quotes since single quotes don’t validate?

And second, OpenX output is XHTML by default so that the img tags end with ” / >”. Can that be changed to HTML output?

The code can be hacked, of course, but I’m wondering if there would be configuration parameters to change those.

As always, thanks for any insights! 😊

Both single and double quotes are valid code, I should think. Secondly, most people use XHTML these days (HTML 5 is not quite there yet), so I consider this a a sensible choice. No, I am not aware of any configuration options in that regard, but then I don’t have that much experience with OpenX.

I’m getting a lot of W3 validator errors/warnings from the URL strings OpenX outputs. I was thinking that perhaps if the strings were enclosed in double quotes the validation would work out better. But I guess I’ll just ignore those errors since the page works. 😊

I found a resolution to this problem!  Those interested might take a look at a thread on the OpenX forums which describes a simple solution to the XML validation issue.
