Tried moblog module with 3 different hosts (futurehosting, gmail w/hack, and now my ISP) none say it connects…
Everything is in order, any ideas?

Greetings Philz:
You are sure your email settings are correct? What is the exact error message you are receiving?

“Unable to connect to email server”
is what I get.
I’ve tried gmail with changing the port to 995, and the SSL:// but that still doesn’t work either. Change it back to 110 (believe standard for pop). Then proceeded to try live mail and cox.net ISP email. Neither work. I’m completely bewildered at what to do next…
I’d like to get this going before I head off to Hong Kong Wednesday, as it’d be incredibly useful! Just darn time difference from here (Tokyo) to states is evil when dealing with these matters :D
BTW, I’m running 1.6.6. I don’t see anything in changelog for *.7 of any fixes.

Philz,
Can you send emails through the CP in general. Try that first.
Go to the following and change Enable Email Debugging? to On
Admin -> System Preferences -> Email Configuration
Click the Communicate tab and attempt to send an e-mail. If the sending fails it will output an error.
Do you have an email assoicated with you domain. Who is your host?
