I have an interesting captcha issue. I have a website with a contact form (EE email module) a custom feedback form (Solspace freeform) and a tell a friend form for posts. When I load the different forms on the different pages, they all show the same captcha word, even after I submit a form. If I hit the refresh button the captcha will change, but it doesn’t change if I jump between form pages. So if I go to the contact form and submit it, then click on the feedback link and go to that page, the captcha will be the same. Then when I try to submit it of course, EE tells me that the word is incorrect. Even without submitting the forms the captcha does not change, so if I’m on the contact us page and click on the feedback link to go to that page, then go to the News section and click on tell a friend, then click on the contact us link again to go back to contact us the captcha will be the same all four times. I find this odd because it seems like the captcha should refresh each time the a new form loads.
Is there a simple setting that I have thats causing this? I had all three forms in the same template with {if} functions and broke them out into 3 separate templates with no result and I have caching turned off on those pages. The site is running v.1.6.0, would upgrading help perhaps?
