    I’m assuming that you have an index.html and index.php file in the girlyshoes directory.  You need to rename the index.html file something like “offline_template.html” and you should get your site back.

    Also double check to make sure you site is listed as “online” in Admin -> General Prefs

    There must be a break in my path somewhere. Because THIS is what is showing as my blog home page.

    http://www.girlyshoes.com/Girlyblog/index.php?URL=http://expressionengine.com/

    and none of the variables are working.

    It’s 11 pm. I have to go to bed. My site is totally and irrevocably hosed. Or at least that’s how it feels right now. There has to be a serious break in the relationship structure.

    I’m too tired to figure it out. I’ll be back here in the support thread tomorrow. Feel free to muck around in my files and fix them like the tech support elves I hope you are.

    I could at 7 this morning, because I checked it before I sent the info. Now, from my office, I can’t. Just freaking shoot me.

    I just sent a help request to HostGator to reset my FTP password, and as soon as they do, I’ll share it with you. Please, though. Shoot me now.

    Girlyshoes, when you get your ftp working again, can you replace the index.php file in your main directory with the one from the original zip file?

    I just did. But by main directory do you mean the EE system directory (which is where I put it) or the main directory for Girlyshoes….

    It won’t hurt to do both.

    And I did that. And now Girlyshoes home page is showing Mild Burning Symptoms home page. I’m going to drink lunch, and I’ll be back to you soon. The PHB just left for Cleveland. Thank Dog.

    Girlyshoes - there’s a lot going on in there that is very confusing, including what appeared to be 2 system directories, wrong path.php files everywhere, and an errant MT installation?

    Can you give us a break-down of what directories should hold

    * Your main EE installation
    * Each MSM Site installation

    Thank you.
