    Moderator’s note: Moved to Tech Support.

    I moved my EE site to our production server yesterday and eveything works except the Forum. Topics and users shoe up in the control panel, but browsing to the Forum goes to my 404.

    http://web1.wpsu.psu.edu/index.php/folk/viewthread/40/

    The topics are coming in another template using exp:forum:topic_titles

    http://web1.wpsu.psu.edu/radio/folk

    I checked paths and templates and everything seems in order.

    Any Help?

    Which build and version of ExpressionEngine are you using? How about the forum? You can find that information at the bottom of any control panel page (EE version).

    What is the path set to for your forum url? What about your forum trigger word?

    Are you running your forum through a template?

    Check your config.php file for the following:

    ‘forum_is_installed’ = what is that set to?

    It should be:

    $conf['forum_is_installed'] = "y";

    That was it!  My config must have gotten overwritten in the shuffle.

    Thanks so much!

    No worries, glad things are working again. Don’t hesitate to post again if needed.
