I have setup my expressionengine installations on two different servers, same problems.

    Expression Engine 1.6.7 Build 20090211

After a seemingly successful installation everything looks fine. I go to the modules tab on the control panel and install a module that i want (first party or third party is both ok). Some other modules i don’t want. I click on the remove link, prompts me if i’m sure that i want to remove the module, i proceed. The module page loads again and shows that it is installed. Looks good right? If i now click on the modules-tab again, it just shows that the module i just removed, is installed.

It doesn’t matter if i do this with firstparty modules or third party modules, it doesn’t work.

Besides this problem, i don’t know if it is related, i cant save any settings regarding some installed third party modules.

With an older version of expression engine 1.6.3
    Same problem

I almost gave up and started typing this post to find some help. I asked someone else to try and he succeeded. I tried another browser, safari and it worked!!! HOORAY!

Disabled all my firefox extensions and indeed, it worked! Reenabled firebug, problems are back. Subspended firebug and it works.

This costed me only a few hours to figure out.. :p

I guess i do not need help, but posted it anyway.
